Watch what people are saying about the book Behold I Make All Things New!
The author's experience of raising his beloved daughter, Ayanfe, with his wife inspired this book. Ayanfe was born with a genetic disorder, which led to the author's quest to understand and provide an intelligent and biblical explanation for the co-existence of evil, pain, and suffering and omnibenevolent, omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent God. This book is written to inspire, support, and encourage all people, notably all followers of Jesus Christ, who might be going through inexplicable pain and suffering and are questioning the goodness of God. However, the book's content will benefit atheists, agnostics, and unbelievers alike. The book will also help equip disciples of Jesus Christ to share and defend their belief in a good God.

"This book is a compendium for all people in difficult situations and are asking the question of where is God? or why has the good God allowed this to happen to me? It is an antidote for depression caused by troubles of life. Its academic, theological, spiritual, and practical richness makes it useful for readers from different backgrounds. It is a must read for all who want to finish their life’s journeys well."
— Reverend (Dr.) Samson Olasupo A. Ayokunle, President, Christian Association of Nigeria & Co-Chairman, Nigeria Inter Religious Council (NIREC)
“Put on your thinking cap as you read this book. Do not try to skim through its pages…When you have completed a thorough and considered reading of this book; you will be better equipped to minister the gospel to the unbelieving – whether they be atheist, agnostic or simply the unconcerned or uncaring. You will also be able to encourage and strengthen the believer in his or her resolve to live out the Christ-life with boldness as they minister to and encourage those around them.”
— Reverend W. Doyle Bell, Tallahassee, Florida, USA
"Since time immemorial, whenever bad/evil things happen, people can’t help but wonder why it has happened and where God is in all of these. In this book, the author has made a commendable effort to provide answers to these questions. This book is recommended for all Christians to help them through seemingly difficult times and equip them to minister to unbelievers.”
— Reverend (Dr.) Mathew O. Olaniyan, Fmr. President, Oyo Baptist Conference, Oyo State, Nigeria
“Whether you come to this text as a Jesus-follower or an atheist, you will be offered help and hope from a logical and thoroughly biblical answer as to why a good, all-powerful God allows such evil to happen in this world. Do we want God to zap away all evil now? That would include all humanity. Do we want only the evil we experience to be done away with? That would be untenable. Wherever you land in this discussion of theodicy, Babatunde Agboola offers a conclusion with the best, no, the only option that provides real answers, real hope in this evil world. There is a purpose beyond the pain when one understands the goodness and wisdom of God over humanity. This scripture-driven text shows us that the Christian God is not caught off guard by the evil in His good creation. He sees, He cares, and He knows the end of evil is on the way. Be comforted that God is at work, especially when you are devastated by your painful trials. “
— Pastor Butch Smith, Texas, USA
"This is a feast for the soul and spirit. The author of "Behold, I Make All Things New!" takes on one of the most difficult questions facing our troubled age as we cry out "where is God amidst the ravages of war, the abduction of innocent children by terrorists, the heartbreak of seeing loved ones endure sickness, and the unremitting grief of death and loss?" Caleb Agboola responds in this tender ode of a father pondering the desperate pain of the path his family has journeyed with their precious daughter Ayanfe, who was born with a genetic condition. But he also brings the powerful inquiry of a thirsty believer, the riveting insight of a prophet, and the provocative rigor of a theologian. This book rings with a call to those who want to do more than merely bemoan the fate of humanity. It beckons to those who seek to understand the divine purpose in the deployment of God's sovereign wisdom and power, and to glimpse the loving presence that abides even through life's most horrendous journeys and seasons. Prepare for moments of tears, reflection, illumination, and perhaps even of heated debate. Recommended for all those who want to grapple with life's tough questions and are ready to exchange recycled platitudes for a true quest to hear God's voice and see his provision in the storm. "
— Professor Peyi Soyinka-Airewele, Ithaca College, New York., USA
“In almost 25 years of practicing journalism during which I have read many books, including authoring a few and editing several others, never have I come across a book that affected my Christian faith like Behold, I Make All Thing New! To say the book is inspiring is understating the fact. It is more than an inspiration. It is actually a revelation of how God wants us to deal with pain and unpalatable events in life…The author, who I have known for close to 30 years, presents his personal experience of pain in a gripping manner that exposes biblical and intellectual concepts, helping to resolve many knotty issues surrounding life’s challenges in a way that encourages us to trust in the all-knowing God to have the final say."
— Sunday Oguntola, Online Editor, The Nation Newspaper, Lagos, Nigeria
“Behold, I Make All Things New! is probably the best book you will love to read. The author has done an excellent job of exonerating and establishing the existence of God biblically in the presence of evil as he addresses this crucial issue of theodicy in this work.”
— Dr. Jacob K. Oladipupo, Pastor, Great-Commission Christian Church, San Antonio Texas, USA
“…The book Behold, I Make All Things New! was borne out of the furnace of his personal experience of pain and suffering in raising a beautiful daughter but with a genetic disorder, combined with his deep quest to provide an intelligent and rational response to the dilemma of reconciling the existence of evil and suffering with an omnipotent, omnibenevolent, and omniscient God. The book is a masterpiece, a comprehensive apologia of the faith and the hope that believers have in God—undergirded by sound scriptural reflections, and an encouragement for those going through pain, suffering, and different challenges of life…a MUST read for everyone…”
— Reverend Damilola Abraham, Lead Pastor, The Love Community Church, London, United Kingdom
“This book is a MUST read for everyone seeking answers to very difficult questions of life, particularly concerning the existence of evil, in the presence of a good God. The book brings scientific perspectives and logical reasoning to prove the authenticity of the all-powerful, all-knowing, omnipresent, and good God. I commend Caleb’s intellectual prowess and diligence in bringing out from the word of God what to some people may look like contradictions and quietly proved the scriptural passages not to be contradictions with many facts from the Bible and many other extant scientific literatures. Highly recommended for both believers and unbelievers! God bless you.”
— Dr. Adeoye Adegorite, Management Consultant, Provincial Government of Ontario, Canada.
"For a long time, I have been searching for a material like this book that my brother was graciously given to write, that would shed more light on how God who Himself is Love allows evil to happen, despite His ability and power to prevent them. In my search I stumbled upon a book titled "the splendor of His Ways " by Stephen Kaung a contemporary of Watchman Nee, and now together with this new book "Behold, I Make All Things New!” I’m firmly rooted on the subject matter. No one after going through this book cannot but exult in praise and adoration to God for His infinite wisdom that is beyond human comprehension. I pray that the Lord will give this book wings and use it as a blessing to our generation. I greatly recommend this book."
— Tommy Akanni, Houston, Texas, USA
"When a thoroughly trained and practicing engineer writes about faith from a personal experience built on a solid biblical foundation, readers are certainly in for a treat! Not a lot of books exist that offer a balanced engagement with the problems of evil and human suffering using both the spiritual and rational lenses. I am thrilled at this amazing piece of work, evidence that good theology has room for both perspectives, with everything leading ultimately to a vision of the goodness of a God that is good by nature. I recommend this masterpiece to anyone struggling to make sense of unpalatable experiences in personal, national, or even global spheres. It offers rich benefits to people of all types and levels of belief. This work is a powerful contribution that can lead to human flourishing here on earth while hoping joyfully for the coming perfection when God makes all things new!"
— Oloyede Odeyale, IT Engineer, Lagos, Nigeria.
